Our Story
One Light Theatre is a year-round theatre company working at both the community and professional levels. We consider ourselves to be a hybrid between the two levels. While we enjoy putting on classics and children's productions periodically, it is our passion to bring new shows to the area, especially those that are cutting edge and truly make the audience think after the production is over. Theatre should be used to provoke thought.
Performers Initiative of the Lakes Region
PILR is a new division of One Light Theatre focusing on allowing the members of the company creative freedoms. We at PILR feel that the most important part of the company is our MEMBERS. PILR feels transparency is of the utmost importance to ensure One Light’s Community Theatre division is an excepting and collaborative atmosphere for all artists.

Performing Arts Summer Camp
Become a Volunteer
Our volunteers are invaluable to our operations. All volunteers must sign a waiver prior to working with One Light.
Volunteer Positions:
Usher: Assists with the needs of the front of the house (lobby and audience). May collect tickets, help individuals to their seats, and monitor the audience during a performance. Ushers will report to the House Manager for each show.
Concessions: Runs the concessions table before the show and during intermission. Concessions reports to the House Manager for each show.
One Light Theatre's summer day camp offers a unique experience for all of its campers ages 6-14. Children will participate in team-building activities that focus on the creative arts. They will also have the chance to fine-tune their craft, led by professionals who have years of experience in the world of theatre arts. The week will culminate with two performances of full-scale musical production.
